The Antonine Wall stretches from one end of Scotland’s central belt to the other; connecting people, towns and businesses.
Our connection with Callendar Estate started off just like that. Our shared interests and passion for the local community and its history brought us working together as neighbours and landowners.
Callendar Estate are the largest landowner in Falkirk and have lots of things to do and see across their extensive portfolio here in Falkirk – from their grand 14th century mansion, Callendar House, hosting famous figures through the years for Scottish royalty such as, Mary Queen of Scots and Bonny Prince Charlie, to their activity hub at Canada Wood, you can explore their extensive MTB Bike trail network from GreenrigCycles, stop for a coffee and enjoy the views at the @CafeCanadaWood, or take the kids to the Milk Barn for some play and homemade ice cream.
Their 6,300 acre site ‘brings town and country together’ and you can start enjoy all this with just a short 1.4km walk from our woodland to Greenrig.
